For you guys with slicks...

Post by bmwm3guy »

I just picked up a set, and was looking for some advice from the ZE guys on slicks.

What do you find is the best launch RPM?

What kinda 60 foots have you seen?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

What kind of slicks are they?

I do a smooth drop from 4k rpms. I am boosted of course, and I spin through 1st and 2nd. However, I have michelin road race slicks which are only good for 2.15 60'. THey are just as hard of compound as street tires.

Wrinkle wall slicks (real ones) will give you the best launches. Only way youll know is to try. I suggest a 4k dump for starters.
