Exhaust Piping
Wondering what the optimum size of pipe to used on a V6 MX would be or if it really matters. I was planning on goin with 2 1/4". i'm just wondering if that would create to much back pressure or if that is a good size to use. Help me out!

Short answer - 2.25" would be great for stock MX or for slight mods. It would be good to know what future plans you have for it too => S/Cing, Turboing and the like. There are some excellent articles on this in past posts, addressing different diameters, crush bent, mandrel bent, Cat's, condensors, mufflers, etc. Well documented info from some very astute members. Welcome to MX-3.com and enjoy the search function, cheers.
