How many of you have no spare tire in your daily driver?
Mine is sitting in the garage. Never need one. Just call the wife/girl or boyfriend to bring the tire over. At most it would only happen once ever couple of year. Ever since I started driving, only had a tire flat on the road once. I'm thinking about cutting out the spair tire bowl and weld in a light piece of aluminum to save more weight.

I've never heard of it eating aluminum, but I've heard tire guys say that some of the canned stuff can make patching a tire nearly impossible, because of its 'coating action.' It covers the inside of the tire with a chemical that won't come back off.
I use one of my factory wheels as a spare. None of that 'donut' crap. "do not exceed 50 mph or go further than 50 miles." Screw that, I'd rather be going as fast as I want again in 10-15 minutes with no worries.
