let me get this stright

Post by WingleBeast »

so lets say i do a BP swap and i want to buy aftermarket parts... obviously i would need to get BP parts for engine applications (cams, headers, valves) but what about compartment unpgrades? would the same aftermarket air intake work?

Most of it depends on what you started out with and what you upgrade too, Intakes are genertic but getting it from one motor to another can take some adaptation.

IDK but usually when you put an engine that wasn't origionally in the car at first usually leans towards custom products.

The intake I used on my SOHC also works just fine on my BP. It Fits perfect and looks great. I used a slightly modified Protege5 intake from ebay.. but you can use the Ebay SOHC intakes as well. They didnt offer those a few years ago when I purchased mine or I would have bought one of those.
