MX-3.com Items for sale!

Post by Custommx3 »

After discussions with Jeff and the lack of donations, we have devised a plan to help pay for the growing number of users and bandwith needed to run this website. <P>I have opened an online store selling all kinds of stuff from CafePress. Neither of us know the quality because its someone neither of us have dealt with before. Jeff and I have agreed that this will help in paying for this site. If anyone has dealt with them before, please let us know so we dont have a bunch of MXers ticked off that we are selling items we didnt know were low quality.<BR>Keep in mind these could be top quality, but Im going to order something just to see the quality of it. <BR>If you guys have any ideas, please post them. As a basic shop I can only have 1 design per type of item. We also cant use MAZDA on them, nor can they be personalized. Once we know this will work, I will open another shop for custom ones. But until then, we have what we have.<P><BR>oh yea.. the link is in my Sig..<p>[ August 15, 2002: Message edited by: Custommx3 ]

What ever happened to mx-3.com decals? I thought alot of people were onboard for that idea. I'd definitely want one, and the profits would go to help keep mx-3.com up.

If I can find a company that does what Cafepress does, then its a possobility, problem is money up front. If we can get enough revenue to cover the costs with the online store after the ISP is paid, It may be a possibility for decals. That again, is Jeffs decision. I'll discuss it with him when I talk to him next.

Just get a bunch made at a decal store - they wouldn't be much. Just make sure there's lots of interest (which there is). Then you can accept M.O.'s or paypal and get 'em shipped.

If u need someone to do the stickers i can have them done for u! and i can take care of all costs and orders/shipping. i am best friends with Mike from Shinzo Werks who does 90% of the graphics out there and i can get them for next to nothing so Mx-3.com will make good profiots off of it

Hey custom, it seems to me that you are the man to talk to if you need something from the MX-3 community. I want to talk to you, so if you could, can you e-mail me at MYMX3Veh@aol.com. I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.

I like the clock, i think ill purchase one :D :D :D <P>But maybe a thought would be some cheapy items for our cars... IE: Vinyl Decals to sport the MX3.com banner? Eh? Or perhaps some handy dandy mx3.com engraved bolt on cupholders?? Or Floormats? Or shiftknobs? ya know.. stuff you could make for cheap... I guarentee if u make a Windshield banner ill buy one.. if it has a cool design.. =o)<P>- Garrett

I just recieved this email<P>"We do offer special order forms for specific car clubs that sell their own designed decals at a reduced cost from retail. However, we do not offer any programs where you make a percentage of the profits. You can do that if you purchase the decals in bulk, then resell them on your site"<P>problem is noone really has time to send out Tons and tons of decals. Plus, money up front is a big issue.<P>-Barry
