I'm gonna try and make it out this year again.

Not much done to the car though... maybe if I have time I'll have my interior panels done though.

Gotta afford some body work though to get a couple dents out. But I wanna test my tires on the way to Kelowna... it'll be fun.

Yeah I love heading out there early as well. We make much better time that way as well. We just have to make sure we keep up to the two speed demons, Darcy and Jen. It Must be a red car thing  . Mind you I'm not much better, but then again my old MX-3 was red.

You better watch on some of those bends and hills just before Golden coming from Calgary. Lots of RCMP around there just waiting for a group of us to come tearing through there. My Radar detector has scan ahead technology so I usually try to warn everyone with the FRS Radios. Seems like we might actually have a healthy pack of cars with the Alberta convoy this year.

It shouldn't, but yours might. Some of the older Cobras were really bad for that. It'll be all good :) .

Hey guys,

Thanks for responding to this post with your thoughts. Been busy and was away on holidays, but back to business at hand. Just posted the info for this year's meet in a new topic. Date for the meet is set for June 24th. Hope to see all of you there.

Hello, all! I too, have been away from this site pretty much all winter long. Partly cuz it's been a quiet winter and so I've done nothing with the car over the season, but also cuz ever since a friend got me into World of Warcraft, that stupidg game takes sooo much of my spare time. :P

Anyway, should I get some maintenance done in time, I should hopefully have mine ready in time for this road trip. Interested for sure, but ready for it is another. Hahaha.... I've got both CV axles to replace, spring and strut replacements, and I need to replace much of my exhaust piping (can't stand how loud it is now.... even at 2500rpms).

So yeah, glad to be posting again, and hope I make it out this year. :D

Darcy is the one who likes to take off on us, especially on the sharp bends around Golden and after Sicamoose. He said he would easy up a little this year, but now that he just bought new Falken tires, I doubt it. Aside from that, we won't be pushing it too much during the trip. We'll leave nice and super early though so that we can make good time without driving too fast. (Less traffic)
