its like a 20 HP increase to the crank between the two. the only thing that will be really different is the DHOC has the VICS, and the SHOC does not. but you not have to hook them up. it works just fine with them wide open. but you can run your stock ecu, but i recomend getting a BP10 ecu. will help a little bit with some, i have a spair its a BP09 (i think) its the Canada Ford Escort GT ECU, its tuned a bit higher than the Mazda Pro LX

Is there some sort of page on the site here that describes each of these engines? Like, size, HP, fitments, etc.. I talked to someone that has an MX-3 here (not any here in OK :roll: ), and he said somethin about a 210 HP motor?
