ECU question

Post by willisww »

ok here is the deal.... 94 mx-3....has the intake manifld for a SOHc with a KIA engine. now i dont know if the engine is a DOHC KIA or if it is just the valve cover. now thats bad enough. there are some extra harnesses that are disconnected and i see no ther place to connect them. now for my question. as far as i can tell the 94 model only came in DOHC on the 1.6l. i am wanting to replace the DOHC KIA with a SOHC mazda. will this conflict with the ECU?

i don't think there a way that sohc manifold (bolt patterns are different) can fit on a BP kia motor. Got's to be a bp manifold.
