Just conme back from the bodyshop, and all the welding has been done and the lower half of the spoiler removed!
Welsing includes..... door handles, front holes on bonnet for the mazda badge, aerial, windscreen washer nozzles and the rear hatch lock!
Only other metal work that needs to be done is work on the rear arches. this includes rolling and flaring them, and also cutting out the rust and patching them up!
Forgot the camera, so i'l post some pics up during the week!

this here is my custom centre console i made. its going to play my ps2 and dvd through it! Its a 7.4'' monitor and was faily easy to install!
First i got a cover plate for the double din h/u. I cut the lower section off and kept the top piece in place! <the small black strip along the top>
Next i took the monitor apart and cut small sections out of the casing so the screws would tighten up nicely!
After all was cut, i placed the screen in position and used the existing screw goles and screws and tightened it all up!
Final stage was to re-assemble the monitor and there u go!

Quick update. The progress has been slow for the last couple of weeks as i've been mainly spending time and money on my mini turbo project!
The bonnets pretty much ready now, doors are prepped and the skirts are fitting perfect!
Hopefully the car should be in primer saturday so i'l post some more pics up when it comes together!
enjoy!

Went to see the old girl last night, and i gotta say...... Im so happy!!!!!
Im so pleased with the way the front end looks. I decided to smooth out the small grill in the front bumper as i feel it enhances the bonnet extension.
Next decision is what do i do with the large grill in the front bumper. Was thinkning maybe chrome bars with black mesh behind, or i might just go for a large oil cooler or something. Any recomendations glady appreciated!!!
Anyways, heres the pics.... let me know what ya think. All commencts good and constructive welcome!
Looking evil...
Smoothed door handles...
Skirts all smoothed in with no filler along the joints! These will not crack no matter what! Its a perfect fit!!!
