As I have heard, that method is pushing the old tranny oil to put new one. But still, it should mix, right?
I have 195 000 km, should I change the filter as well?
Thx a lot!

Is this tranny a ATX or MTX? If its an ATX then yes.. change the filter.. if its a MTX.. it doesnt have a filter.. If its a ATX.. you cant help but mix old fluid with new fluid unless you completely remove the transmission from the car so you can drain the torque converter of all its fluid. You would also need to drain and clean out the transmission cooler lines which run to the radiator and possibly (recommended) to a aftermarket tranny cooler.
If the tranny is an MTX.. you can buy a pump from most autoparts stores that will allow you to pump all of the old gear oil out and then you can pump new gear oil in. These hand pumps usually cost less than $10.
