ALL CANADIANS, PLEASE READ!

Post by Darcy »

If you have time to read this forum today, you have time to vote.

Get on your shoes, walk to the nearest school or wherever it is that you vote and do your duty.
In my opinion, this country is in crisis and your vote will count immeasurably this time.

think I might write myself in this year

I dont trust any of the parties at this point. i get the same feeling about Stephen Harper as I did for Dalton Mcguinty, turns out I was right about Dalton so I may have to go with my gut again on this one.

And that's the attitude that gets us stuck with corrupt and useless government.

I'm glad we got some change. For a Conservative majority, they will have to earn it.

I dont see a conservative majority for a looooong time

Harper shares views with Bush in things like the Iraq war, abortion, gay marriage, etc. the majority of Canadians are more liberal to allow those views to be in complete control.

You've obviously seen one too many Liberal attack ads :)

Canadian Conservatives are way more centered as a whole than the Bush Republicans. There are obviously going to be different extremes within any party such as this where it has the entire right side, whereas the Liberals and the NDP definitely have a certain portion of the left.

liberal ad attacks?

I get my facts from paying attention to votes on these things. Stephen Harper was asked what he thinks about these things by reporters and he said straight to them what I said above. I certainly didnt watch any ads by the liberals. The only ads I saw this year were conservative and NDP ads. Not once did I watch a liberal ad.

I'll admit right now that I voted green. I personally dont trust any of the leaders but I have most distrust for harper.

didnt bother voting.... dont see a point in it truthfully. not like my one vote would make a big change in the results... so eligable for 2 elections and number voted in 0. im planning on keeping this streak going for many years.

Call me an ignorant American...but why is your country in crisis?

I'm not trying to be funny, I actually have almost no idea what is going on in Canada.
