steelers and the panthers.

panthers have way too good of a defence for the offence of the seahawks to do anything and alexander isnt 100% so there goes about 90% of the offence.

and the steelers hands down over the broncos. the broncos just arent the same since terrel davis and john elway were there.

I have no preference who wins, but I really think Seattle is going to take it all. They were almost flawless in tonights games and defense was on top of most plays. I didn't see that with Pitts.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA :D  :2thumbsup:

Sorry to flame you.. but its not like I can flame all the other naysayers that chose the Panthers over the Hawks ;) But thats ok.. hardly anyone around the sporting world has given the Hawks half the credit they deserve for this season.. and while you are eating a bit of crow now.. rest assured you will be joined by millions of people in that most delactable of dishes after the Hawks beat the Steelers in the Super Bowl ;) Cheers

I still say Pittsburgh... they are doing so good. They just have to do the same thing they been doing the last three games.

See thats the thing.. The Seahawks have been one of the most consistant teams all season long.. granted when Pitt was sucking it was because their QB was injured.. but they havent been as consistant. My opinion is biased of course.. and I do think it will be a good game.. But somehow all season long.. the Hawks have managed to come out on top. So.. I will be expecting them to do so one more time ;) Cheers

Putting everything aside. Who did they play?

In the regular season, the Seahawks played like 3-4 teams that had a winning record(easy schedule). They played Washington and the Panthers to get to the SuperBowl. I didn't see anything special about their defense, the Panthers played badly.

On the other end, the Steelers had 3 rival teams in their conference with 9+ wins, they had to play twice. Played Patriots, Chargers, Colts, etc. You get the point, they had a much harder schedule. In the playoffs they took down 1,2,3 seeded teams. A much better defense than Seattle. The Seahawks may have a better running back, but Rothlisburger has shown he's more efficient, and better quarterback in the playoffs.

Maybe why the Steelers are favored by +4.
