[FS] 94 MX-3 RS (parts car)

For sale: 94 Mazda MX-3 RS Parts Car.

I think I posted a long time ago saying a short goodbye and that my MX-3 had died

Well its been sitting for over a year now because I never got around to stripping it and parting it out... I've just recently started getting interested parties asking if its for sale as a parts car, and it definately is! The problem is, I don't know what to charge.

The car is in great shape. The seats are perfect if I remember correctly, and it ran well enough to get me to and from college on a number of occasions. The reason the car is dead, is because the transmission went out (AT). I do not remember the exact parts that died on it, but I'll assume the entire trans is shot.

If people online are interested, I'll get current pics up asap for them to look through. I'm mostly curious what the car is worth. The only number that has been thrown out at me is $100 and I kinda chuckled because that's lower than what I expected. (but market value is only what the market will pay

).

My car can be seen: here. All lights and stereo stuff have been stripped out of the car. The alternator is going to be sold seperately from the parts car, at a later date (it is still in the car)...

so only thing wrong is the AT Tranny? Car runs?

Man, long time no see. Good to hear your still alive. I'm not ready yet, but I need to get my alternator replaced when I take it out of winter storage. It on 2 occasions I got the charge light at low RPMS, but went away after a few days ans hasn't same back yet, but I can see it's still not happy, it make a whining noise, but works, for now. Although I still haven't checked to see if the recall is still valid on my car, I would perfer an upgraded alternator. Keep me in mind when you do.

Last time I checked, the car still ran. The car has been sitting for just over 1 year now. I will try and start it up this weekend, and let you know if you're interested.

Nd4SpdSe, yeah, I'll definately give you a PM once I grab the alternator out and am ready to sell it. I've been really busy with my new job so I don't know when I'll finally get around to that... It's also cold out so that makes me less eager to work on the car.

I'm not looking to part the car out individually unfortunately. I realize I can probably get a lot more money out of it that way, but its a process that I don't want to go through.

The interrior is in excellent condition, the seats are only sun faded, but nothing is wrong with them at all. THere's a rip on the backseat rest where the snap tie down was.

The dash is in 100% perfect condition if I remember correctly.

What I'm really looking for is an idea of how much a MX-3 in this kind of condition is worth as a parts car. Does anyone have any idea of a figure?
