i just put a 93 5 speed in a 94 auto,,,plug and play.even electric speedo goes rite in ,shafts fit also, the only difference was the pedal assembly was slightly different so if you get the pedals from a 94 or newer its a bolt up..93 pedals had to be altered

A 1993 is a SOHC

A 1994 is a DOHC

He said he's done the swap you are asking about and it IS a direct bolt up.

i cut the clutch pedal off the assembly and drilled a hole, you will see where to drill it on top, yhere is a hole already threaded on car you need to drill one on the cluch assembly,,if you dont support it from top it will eventually crack the firewall where clutch master bolts through, try to get pedals from a 94 and up and its bolt in.

Can I take a 5-speed tranny from a RS 4 cylinder DOHC and bolt it up to a 1.8 DOHC v-6 ? So basically, A RS tranny to a GS engine ?
