My cars currently in the body shop having a full re-spray and loads of body work done. I've been chopping the car on photoshop and think this is my final design. What you all think???
The car is being built puerly for shows, so i needed something fresh!!!
Any comments good or bad would be great! Cheers guys!
colors are nice, but i'm not a fan of the shark fin on the door. you need to find a better transition between the two colors. i think this is why a lot of people stay away from two tone cause it's hard to get the colors to flow together. good luck though.
I hate the color yellow.. so I would ditch that color.. If you want to do two tone.. use a fade effect from one blue color to the next. Have the windows mirror dipped rather than that film tint crap. Wheels look nice. Best of luck.

I am the Cranky God of Mods!!! Tremble before my fury!! LOL
i would do like a dark techno blue (lower half) and a silver (top half) then get some pin striping to tie the colors togeather. or maybe a candy red and black, deffinetly dont do the shark fin. originally my idea was to do my car the new Scion Camo Green, with a extremely high gloss black. the hood top of car and hatch would be black and the rest would be the camo green

Don't do candy red and black or blue and silver. Those colors are over-played. Maybe a pearl white to a chracoal flake. Have the colors split low in the front with the white on top, then go just over the front wheel well and back down, then slant up slowly so that the complete rear is charcoal.
Custom is a real opinion, this post is going to get alot if different opinions and I'd bet if it lasts long people start knocking other ideas...

I remember that car from the one and only time I ever went to London! Someone introduce me.
As for your custom paint, I'm not going to give you my choices in colours because everyone has differing opinions. But whatever you do stick to a nice clean transition between colours. No funky designs or anything gimmicky. When you choose your colours consider complemetary colours to ease the transition.
ick man, that is gross. I don't think that would do very well in any show. I think you had better wait before you go and start painting. I don't like the whole rice/show car thing at all. But definatly that isn't gonna get ya any trophys.
1992 mx-3, a couple mods, i'm still a n00b
---Don't try and church your car up, MX-3's aren't fast---
The more i think about it the more I think the 2 tone is a bad idea. Why not just one colour thats very deep and rich. Like a candy or something. To me that would be a refreshing change from the wacky designs people think they need to win shows in the sport compact categories. Let the body lines win the show. A highly polished solid color will turn way more heads.
