Post by Captain Clint »

Hi all. I got problems. My air flow mass sensor is U/S. Which is a big problem living in south africa. I need to know where i would be able to get one of them. Or which mazda uses the same unit. The part number on the unit is B 577 and E5T51071 5421. Please help. :? Thanks

What year car do you have? Is it a flap kind of airflow meter or a hotwire kind? Id say you can just use one out of any 323, or protege with the same engine.
Gotta know what model car you have though.

You dont have a local dealership anywhere?
If its a 96 then its gotta be a hot wire type sensor. I woulden't think the resistance would be different of it so I would just try and match it up with another one out of another car. Do you have any scrap yards anywhere close to you?
