Jetta Dashboard

Post by GQ084 »

I have a 1994 jetta dashboard. It was to be used to swap into my 88 jetta but I no longer have it.
Is it possible to swap that dashboard into MX-3?

waste of time period.

but hey if you want to be different and waste a lot of cash be my
guest, the effort could be spent detailing the MX3 dash instead.

Waste of time is jubjective, but one thing he could do is the other Mx-3 dash.

Unfortunately, GQ084, swapping a dash from another manufactuer of a vehicle will be hit and miss, the project your proposing have never been done...actually I don't believe anyone has swapped in any non-Mx3 dash into an Mx-3, there are custom dash done mind you, but it's much easier to custom make or modify an existing dash than you try to retrofit one.

In the end, your on your own. Although I find it's kind of an unusual question; you can basically ask "Ask anyone swapped a dash from ____ car into an Mx-3?" and the questions will be no.

It would be neat, I don't know what you would do about the intrument cluster and controls, especially if your HAVC isn't digital, even worse to try to relocate that. If you do attempt it, all i can say is good luck, you have a long road ahead.
