front speakers

Post by suffocated »

hi everyone.
can someone suggest to me a pair of front speakers for my 94 mx-3 that WON'T require any drilling of holes or adapter plates/foam? something i could just buy from the store and screw in without any problems. and wont affect the opening/closing of the windows. im not looking for anything special... just something to replace the stock speakers.

a set of speakers that don't require drilling or an adapter plater might be tough. drilling holes is easy though, it only took me 5 miniutes and it was dark out. how much are you looking to spend?

ohhh i had one other question:

since the front speakers are right below the window, and they get wet sometimes, when i install the new speakers, do i have to line it with anything? or is it not necessary?

Why you going to do that 6 1/2's sound better (well mine do) Plus the hole is to big it wont fit. (unless you get some speaker adapters)Plus if you did get them in have you ever thought how much room is behind that speaker then rool the window down then think it again. useing them are pointless it wont make a differents. even for that small of a speaker.
