shorten power steering line??

would it be safe to shorten the power steering line to make room for a front mount intercooler??I want to take out the part that is direcly in front of the car and have it stop under the passenger side headlight!!!

power steering lines are a special length from what I've heard. But u could use flexable hose the same length and put it somewhere else

ok so i would just have to remove the hard line and run a soft line to manover it around the intercooler??

Just get rid of the power steering components all together... have all kinds of room to play with
