is the mx-3 a performance car?

Post by pills_PMD »

i see everyone say that hondas aren't performance vehicles... unless heavily modified. i feel the same is true for the mx-3. a stock 1/4 mile is definately not "performance vehicle" time for either the 4 cyl. or the gs
just wondering?

Hey man, I can agree with you on that. Mx-3's need some money invested in them , in order to perform well. I love my car, I have a V6 model, but I was really disappointed when some guy in a new Golf beat me. Now Iam planning on dropping a new engine and doing some mods, and then I'll be able to race anyone in a honda or vw.

You have to remember that it sometime depends on the driver of the car. I took a 93' 240zx. Just my 2 cents!

It is faster than some cars on the road, and it's definetely fun to drive. :)
But sometimes I just wish I had more power. This other time the guy in a 5.9 liter Dakota R/T wanted to race me, just cause my exhaust was loud and my car looks sporty. I just let him go by himself, he was so anxious, he even missed his turn, while racing by himself... :)

But none drove a manual, and since I bought the car 2 months ago, I drink less.
Well, Drink and Drive don't mix. If you are having difficulties to walk after 20 years of training, and you think you could drive home safe with only 4 years of driving... You are making a biigggg mistake.
My 2 cents.
