I'm not seriouslly considering this, but I am wondering if anybody here does use it, and how it works for them.

I thought someone on here was doing a test by mixing regular gas with that stuff to save some cash

I remember that post. They ran it for a while, adding a small amount to their tank on every regular gas fill up. No real noticable mileage change if I remember right... But i can't remember anyone running straight ethanol...
It might be slow, but it's not a civic!

The overall difference will not be noticed immediately. The effects will be noted later when the internal engine rubber seals and parts, as a starter, will start to deteriorate. This is why the law only allows a 10% mixture in the US. Newer cars are being made to run better with ethanol but it's still a distance away. As for the MX3, it's not capable of handling an increased ratio. I, for one, will not use gas with any ethanol mixture.

I'm willing to bet the person who experimented is not liking the results later on or he has yet to see them.
