mx3 gs gauge cluster ?

I'm in the process of swapping an mx3 dash into my egt, however I have come across an obsticle that I hope someone here has some knowledge on. While examining the two gauge clusters it is apperent that the mx3 one is digital, while our scorts use the mechanical hookup for the speedo. Does anyone know if it is possible to convert to a digital speedo. Also does anyone know/have a wiring diagram for the mx3 speedo harness so that I can swap the connectors from my gt to the mx3 connectors. Any other info from people that have done this swap before would be appreciated. -thanks-

Get a pre 94 RS (4 banger) MX-3 cluster, they are cable driven speedo.
As for the wiring, there might be a diagram on the online shop manual on the main page of MX-3.com, but I'm not sure if it has the electrical stuff on it.

so the pre 94 cluster will match up with the 94 dash?

Ahh! So it's RS specific...My 92GS is all electrical
