thanks guys.

rear mudguards would be nice, i'm thinking about the GS front spoiler before i would do the mudguards. given that my front rotors are almost shot, i think i'm gonna put the money to new cross drilled rotors instead  i can't have all show and no go. i'd rather be ugly and fast.

if anyone wants to know how i got my headlights to be the crystal clear that they are, i can post pics and a small tutorial. kick on the brights at night and it's like the headlights of God lol.

clean? forget clean. it's time to MODIFY, and fix mazda's screwup with poor material selection. i am not responsible for anything that happens if you try this. one of my lenses got smashed a while back. mazda wanted $300 a piece for new headlight buckets. i said forget it. went to home depot, bought a sheet of 1/8" thick lexan and clear silicone caulk. i used a dremel tool to cut out the remains of the lens, and then cut a piece of lexan to fit. i used a few screws to keep it in place, and sealed it with the silicone caulk. the caulk starts out white, but it dries clear. it worked so well, i decided to hack up the remaining headlight and do the same. i've driven over 50k miles with my headlights like this with no problems from rocks or any other road debris. THEY ARE TOUGH. the only thing is, because the lexan doesn't have the scattering effect that the original diffuser does, the beam does get a little narrower than stock headlights-- but the increase in light output MORE than makes up for it. while i was at it, i removed the black metal piece that covers the bulb. tired of waiting for a projector headlight kit? try this. :-)

i'm sure it's frowned upon, but with all the HID and blue bulbs running around now adays, i don't get looked @ twice. i've had my headlights like this for almost 3 years now.

My brother got a ticket for his lights being "too bright" in Eatonton, GA and he only has the HID bulbs.
