1992 MX3 - Might Purchase - Help!

I'm looking to purchase a used car & just took a 1992 MX3 6cyl/5speed for a ride - wow!<P>It drives great, shifts great! Two questions though - the dealer said it was towed and an "H" bar is slightly bent - the car was all over the road. He will fix it - will it still be ok?<P>The second consideration - it has 104,000 miles on it. How long can they last? I currently have a 2001 Pontiac Sunfire - car payments are too high! When I drove the MX3, I thought - where have I been??!!<P>Help!

i talked to a mazda master technician and he said the engines here last up to 3 or 400,000 kms, which is like 180,000 to 240,000 miles, so i think you should be good to go with that, and as long as he gets the bar fixed, make him a deal, MAKE SURE THE CAR IS FIXED BEFORE YOU PAY HIM, some dealers have a tendency to screw people.

mazda makes a really good engine I had a 88 626 turbo I had 293,000 miles on it when it died so you can trust the high milage engines they will last as long as you take care of them.....
