WANTED 1.8L(K8) V6 ENGINE

I want to buy a used 1.8 v6. My car failed emissions and I dont feel like spending $1000 to get new O2 sensors when I could put in a different engine for cheaper.<P>Preferably from a GSR swap<P>thanx guys

Sorry bro thats way over inflated because of your area that probably makes your car rare. <BR>I can get a 2.5L KL-03 engine with 200PSI compression and 138km for $685. <P>I was looking for an engiine with less than 200Km and under $500

If u still are interested in an used engine, I have one from my 94 GS. With about 110k on it. 100us and its yours.

I had that same idea when I first failed my emissions test. I bought this car as a second driver car and will probably end up letting my g/f drive it around. The 1.8L engine is pretty Torquey seeing that the mx3 weighs nothing. Its not a race car true. But Im putting a DET into my G20 this summer and I have a bad feeling about the install price for a shop to drop in the 2.5L engine swap.

I wen to a few independant parts stores and they told me $600 I dont know if they are selling them individually or as a pair. Even still I need to swap my engine. I have 276 Km. I dont wanna fail another e-test

Ya you can get them at Autozone for $58 (there are 2 btw) a piece and you probably do them yourself. The front one is so easy to see. The back on is a little harder. But if you thinking you need a new engine cause you can't pass emissions, then that is pure madness.
