I ran a 50 shot on my automatic RS.

It seemed to do just fine, although I would not recomend going higher then 50 for a dry system, on a stock motor. it relies on your stock fuel system to provied the extra fuel need, it works off your fuel pressure regulator, and the system only works at wide open throttle. simple to hook up and simple to use. I would recomened the ZEX kit as a good place to start, the retail for around $999 I think.

The bonus with the wet system is you get fuel along with the n20. you can run a higher shot of nitrous but these kits are usually more expensive and harder to install, I have never worked on one so I cant say for sure.

If you get a kit make sure you get a blow down tube, a bottle heater, and a purge system to get the most out of your kit, dont cut corners and you will be fine.

Nitrous is very safe when used in the right way and dont worry it doesnt make your car explode 8) its an oxidizer and is not flamable

You can hook up your nitrous kit to a seperate button, but it usually isn't recommended. Reason being is if something happens and you panic your first instinct is to let go of the throttle. Your hands usually tense up and if you're holding a nitrous button on your wheel you may not let it go.

Another reason is you should only be using your nitrous at wot, or else a nitrous backfire may occur (can't explain how they work, but they're devistating to a car, usually resulting in an interior fire.) The Zex kit has a switch to activate the system, and a selenoid that connected to your tps to detect wot. You can still floor it with out using nitrous, just don't arm the system. It's best to have it wired to the throttle.
It might be slow, but it's not a civic!

ZEX Kit, good choice. I have heard alot of good things about ZEX nitrous systems. I think i will be getting one sometime soon, also a dry system. Single point dry injection kit is very easy to install from what i have heard.
Good Luck with the kit and install. Just hope corksport comes out somtime soon with an ecu for us 4 cyl guys. Whats the point of nitrous with a limiter at 115.
Drive Fast,Hit the nitrous,Enjoy the ride :)

The system I used was a ghetto rigged NOS 50 shot, I bought it for $400 and man was I in for some fun work lol.

The kit had nothing i needed I had to make a bracket for the WOT switch, bottle mounts, lines, etc etc.

I used a red arm switch that I ran off the cig liter its a 12 volt so it worked, I didnt have power widows or locks so I put the switch on the center counsol. I took it apart and drilled through it and placed the switch there. Unless this was armed the Nitrous would not work, so for daily driving it was fine, the WOT activates the nitrous at that point to ensure you dont get a lot of detonation.
