Cabin Fan 'whines' when 2 and 4

Yep, getting very annoyed.

When I have the fan in settings 2 or 4 I get a high pitched squeel while it works. It still works great, just the noise is getting to me.

Any ideas? or am I looking for a replacement?

(I got a 92 4cycl model mx-3)

I know in my girlfriends stratus hers makes a loud noise on any speed when the air is set to come out on the front window but any other settings its normal. Maybe its something like that but probably not.

Sounds odd... maybe like the bushings are bad and they only make noise at cetain RPMs... I don't really know.
