for the KL-ZE its about $700 for the motor
plus labour for instalation and I always install a new timing belt, tentioner, water pump and tune up.
the bpt motor I only bought once about 4 months ago and I paid almost$1000. It could be slightly different now dont quote me on that!
for a bpt it really depends how deep u want to go on power to calculate the labour

Sick_mx3, please find out about the BPT. I know of at least two in niagara who are itching for this swap (Blackie and myself). lol see if you can get a discount for getting multiple engines Also i have a 96 RS so I hope you can hook in a standalone as well The GTX is good, the GTR would be better

My car is a 1996 MX3 RS (4 cyl). OBDII, so either I need an uncut BPT harness and ECU, or we'll have to use a standalone like I mentioned earlier. Probably a Megasquirt. If you're up for the challenge (and a hell of alot of research) we can always go for the AWD swap too The car will be off the road for the winter, so i am in no rush to have the car back
