[FS] KLZE ENGINE. something wrong with it PRICE DROPPED!

whole engine except for alternator timing belt ps pump ac compressor. and few other small things. anyways i dont know what is wrong it started ticking then about 20 miles later boom! noise then wouldnt start. i have it sitting in my shed and i want to get rid of it. $500 takes it + shipping at your expense or pick up from washington.

umm i just realized that it has some broken camshafts on the front head and i am not sure if thats all that is wrong with the engine i have not opened it all up and looked at it. i am willing to sell as is now for $380 firm. only 19 twenty dollar bills

wth...if ur cams broke due to oil starvation, you can bet your a-- those heads are also scored to holy hell in the cam journals.

the only part off this engine worth salvaging is the intake manifold. Teh heads will need machining, the cams are garbage & the block/pistons are probably scored to hell and will need to be bored out...not worth the $$$

IF you bought this engine from an importer recently i'd be throwing a fit about getting my money back!

Probably should consider parting out what's salvagable. What type flywheel and how much if selling? I think Kp2T would probably be interested in the IM.

the intake manifold is ms8 it has a screwed up throttle/ its for sale.
i am willing to part out the engine but the front head had 2 broken camshafts and like i said tick tick CLUNK. so i dont know what is good and what isnt.p the compression i got wasnt close to 210. so i done know what the hell is up with the engine i just want it gone.

oh god damn, gro i think you're rite because i did an oil change on it and i was in a rush to get to court i think i put in abou 2 and a half quarts. and i didnt put more in til the next day

its still got good pulleys and valve covers and whatnot

well if it had even 2qts out of 4 of oil it would've still be fine

ur oil pump was probably bad from the get go and didn't work right.


Also, when u get an engine that has been sitting, u are supposed to prime the oil pump. Fill engine w/oil....pull the plugs so they don't spark (+ keeps the compression from slowing down the starter) and pour a lil bit of oil on the top of each piston via the sparkplug holes (this lubricates the rings properly

then crank it a few times to bulid pressure...and pow....ur ready to start it

i was giving a FREE ze .. was bad of course...no one took it... had to take the cams out and onoly salvageable thing..pulleys and waterpump. One head I use it as a big weight when it rains or theres alot of rain. good luck.
