Wastegate Recommendations...

Post by cjthor »

I have a turbonetics deltagate currently and am getting a new manifold made soooo.......I want to upgrade! I was looking at either a HKS or a Tial 38mm. This is going on a 1.6 B6T probably pushing out 250-300WHP

Actually I like the compact design of the Tial. My deltagate almost hits my PS pump.

Hi Jarid,

Will this manifold, wastegate, downpipe combo work on a MX3 that still has AC installed? If so I might be interested as well, looking to upgrade my turbo to something a bit bigger.

your manifold

Post by forcedairram »

Hey Jarid, your manifold is sooooo close to being complete.. I finished matching your ports to your runners today so all that is left is bit of grinding on a small amount of burnthrough where the collector was welded and surfacing the flanges...And by the way no need to change your wastegate, deltagate has a good 1/4 inch from power steering pump...possibly more depending on where it would be when tensioned...Manifold looks good if i must say so myself..lol anyhow thanks for your buisiness and thanks for you patience.
