5-speed final drive ratio

Are there different final drive gears available for MX-3 GS 5-speed manual transmission?

I don't know what you mean by "what are the different" cuz theres only one final drive for the 5 speed tranny. And I do believe that it is 4.39.....I think.

i have a 4.11 final drive, better suited for the klze engine swap

Yup, you see where I'm going with this question. Did you change the gearing in your mx-3 tranny or did you swap in one that was originally mated to a KL motor?

MX6/626 trannies have the 4.11 while the MX-3/Probe trannies have a 4.388

i have a tochigi fugi sangyo 2-way LSD.....it also has a 4.11 final drive

installed it myself....spent a whopping $320 on it

gro did you have to take the gearbox off the car ?
Is it universal or for mazda only ?
