Sorry for the bad quality and placement of the camera, but I hope you can get something out of this.
I placed the mobile telephone camera in the passenger seat under the headrest.
I started at the end of the short straight. The car in front of me was a Subaru Impreza.
At the end of the short straight I had to let go of the throttle a bit earlier, becuase
there was a decibel sensor their. And someone had already passed the limit at 95dB two times.
After three warnings no one was allowed to race at the track anymore. But luckely there
were no more people passing the limit.
The red car I overtook was a Miata.
I stayed just under the rev limit in second gear before the start of the short straight.
I think it was unnessesary to shift into third and then one second later shift down into
second again before taking the bend.
The black car I overtook at the start of the long straight was a Nissan 200SX S13 (think it's called 180SX in USA).
The red car at the end of the movie is a Miata. I think all of the Miatas had racing tires.
The other red car that passed me was a Subaru Impreza.

Pretty cool movie so far. What are your shifting points most of the time. You seem pretty consistent about when you shift. Is it at the rev limit or a little before.

I tried different shifting points. But I'm still not sure what is the best; shift just before the rev limit or shift after ~6500 when the torque curve starts to fall.
On the long straight I tried to rev 4th gear until the rev limit, and I also tried shift a bit earlier and put it to 5th gear. I was doing 180-190km/h on the long straight, and I reached 190 when shifting to 5th gear I think.

A new short movie on the short straight (with better quality) is now added.

No. We have a 240SX. Average American consumers are enamoured with bigger engines, not more powerful engines, even if the smaller engine is turbocharged to high heaven. Don't ask me why. So Nissan took the suck-a-- 2.4L engine to put in the SX for the states, instead of the must better 2.0 liter from the Sentra SE-R.Macen wrote: The black car I overtook at the start of the long straight was a Nissan 200SX S13 (think it's called 180SX in USA).
