I've been driving around in my mx for about a year now with no fuel needle, time to fix it. I have a spare gauge cluser with a spare coolant needle, sorry to say but no fuel gauge to swap over , and electrics...was wondering if somebody could send me a pic of the rear of the fuel gauge assembly? reason being i've already snipped off the diodes without taking any notice of which bit came from where.
I guess my real question is, is it possible to take a coolant gauge and replace the fuel one?
Otherwise its off to the dealers to get me another cluster....bugger.
MX - K8, 2 inch Cat Back, K&N Filter, TWM Short Shifter, CAI, Speedhut gauges.
200sx - 182kw's...oh baby thought boost was a waste of time boy was i wrong.
The actual electrics in the gauge seem different, they have different resistors etc built in, so you could physically swap them but you would get false readings.
Go to a scrap yard and get an old set of dials and canabalise them.
