keep my mx3???

Post by dna201 »

i have a 93 mx3 gs auto. it's got about 110,000. i just recently had to get a new tranny. i love the car, but i'm debating on how much longer to keep it. i replaced the alternator awhile back and it probably needs new timing belts, and muffler. can anyone tell me if this car will have to have constant repairs with the high mileage? am i going to have to keep fixing it??? thanks for any advice!

I have a 92 GS 5spd, had it for a year and a half, 135,000 miles, and the only thing major I've done to it is replace the water pump. It's running like a sewing machine!

Look at it this way, youve already replaced most of the important expensive things that you would need to repair (except for the engine and possibly the timing belt, but I dont think the timing belt is that expensive)so now you are saying that youve put all this work into it and you want to sell it? KEEP THE MX!!! It'd not be very smart of you to fix up the car and then get rid of it.
