wiring

sounds to me like a wiring problem, if you hook a wire up wrong it could screw with the reading

I just bought a A/F Gauge and it says to make sure to NOT ground out the ground wire to a ground inside the cabin of the car and to only groudn it useing an engine ground... Maybe the ground you are using has to do with something in the grounding of the brakelights?

That's abotu the blindest stab I could take, but It's worth a look. Sounds like a wireing thing to me.

It goes really rich, I imagine, because the brake booster runs off vacuum, so does your fuel pressure regulator. The less vacuum the FPR gets, the higher the fuel pressure.

At least, that makes sense to me, and that'd explain it, sort of.

A/F gauges are pretty much useless though, fyi.
