My car in progress

Post by Absath »

Went to the body shop today to take some pictures of my car in progress. It's completely dismantled, and they've started doing the body work. One whole door has been sanded to perfection, and they cut one of the vents in today.

Still a LONG way to go, but I thought I'd share my pain (seeing my girl like this)

The guy that is doing the body work has been working with fiberglass for 30 years. He's done a lot of custom kits (including a wide body kit for a mercedes, he has hanging from the wall)

He's got a Datsun that he bought in 76, and he crafted a whole new front end for it, as well as a whole new rear, and back window (not shown).

And my favorite, he's got a Delorean. He makes parts for Deloreans all over the world.
