my friend has a 92 prelude si and there is white smoke coming from the tail pipe and i think it could be a head gasket and my other friend thinks it is bad piston rings but i thought that was blue smoke ? but anyways anyone know what it could be ? any help would be good and i already told those guys to not drive a Honda ![Razz :P](./images/smilies/icon_razz.gif)

Thick clouds of white smoke is usually steam resulting from a blown head gasket, cracked head or a cracked block. Coolant is getting into the cylinders one way or another. If the smoke has a blue tint to it.. thats typically oil burning.. do a compression test on the engine.. that will reveal where the problem is.
