K8 ECU

Post by shutupturnaround »

since my k8 only has 110,000 km's on it and it running amazing i am just gonna build it up until it poops out which at that point i will get a klze. so far i have a 2.25" exhaust with no cat and staight through muffler, also got an intake from an integra in the mail. my question is about upgrading my ecu, is there any signifigant increase in hp or anythign by doing this (i dont know much about what upgrading an ecu actually does), i was thinking about the one that corksport offers for the k8. any thoughts?

i dont know from experience but from what i have heard/read that the corksport ecus are full of sh*t, i would stick to the stock ecu.

corksport is known for doing good tuning on K series motors. PATDIESEL apparently is pushing 180whp with his tuned K8 ECU on a KLZE. They remapped it with the proper fuel and timing maps for the ZE.

I dont think too many people have gotten the tuneup done for a K8 though.
