Altenator Problem

Post by wheelmanmx3 »

What alternator did you guys use when you did the ZE swap. Did you use the one from the k8 or the one from the ZE. I am having bad charging problems. I have the altenator of the K8 on, because the millinia altenator connector looked different, but i could be wrong and I cant check it now cause the car wont start and the altenator is at the garage i did the swapp at.
Its not about how fast it goes, but about how well you drive it when it goes fast.

I put the KLZE Alternator on mine. I followed the info from this forum how to install it. Works great :)

Ya use the ze alt!!! Its super easy to hook up too. It blots right up and the only thing you need to mod is the middle wire on the plug. Its an ignition wire and all you need to do is hook it into another ignition wire in the engine bay. I found one on the distributor. I think it was a red wire, i could look it you wanna know.
