B6T swap

Post by TEAMpK »

Some of you may remember me posting the MX-3 last year when I turboed my stock motor. After some motor issues I had 3D Motorsports do a motor swap. I got a ACT street performance kit, VJ-14 turbo, SAFC, Boost & Oil Gauges, TurboXS MBC, Custom FMIC, 2G Eclipse BOV, 1G Eclipse IC Piping, Walboro 255 Fuel Pump, FPR, Battery relocated to trunk, Sumitomo HTR 200 tires, Custom exhaust, Custom downpipe, J-Spec B6T motor, and an APC air filter. Here are some pics of the project:

I should be taking it out to MAM next week. I am working on my front bumper too.

I thought you could use the B6ZE Intake manifold on the B6T? I thought it was better to swap manifolds.

You would have to swap the head. I had some issues with my head...so...I didn't. I also liked this better for the FMIC.
