In time as with everything else, the novelty will wear off. Hopefully the spirit and passion for biking will parallel that of the MX. A good balance between the 2 is a good thing, IMO. Take it from someone who's owned and rode bikes for 35 years....and I still love my Ducati....hey it may still give those rice rockets a run for their money. Long live the Desmo...LOL. Enjoy the biking times!!

Haha, your bike is probably faster than most peoples cars..
I want a little ninja 250, I'm kind of short (5'6'') , and I like little maneuverable bikes anyway.

I love it by the way, good choice

Thanks man, Im 6 foot, and i fit the bike perfectly. The bike is quite small and moves anywhere you want it. Although, I dont have anything else to compare it to because this is the only thing ive ridden. Should be getting my yoshi exhaust and my new turn signals and eliminator kit for the tail.

I'm not fond of motorcycles, not because they scare me or anything, but for the sheer fact that other people are idiots.

Mainly, my brother (when I was about 9 or so) was riding his bike through an intersection when someone in a car got gas happy and took off when they had a red light. Smacked right into the side of him as he was turning. Now, he's got a metal rod in his leg, some hinges in his knee, and a nice scar. Albeit, he will get a disability check from the Air Force once he retires since it happened while he was (and still is) enlisted.

Yeah it happens when people dont pay attention ya know. A lot of people in cars dont even care that you are on a bike they will tail gate you or cut in front of you. Its crazy but you just have to be more aware ya know. O well, im having fun, almost 900 miles on the bike!
