wait a second..that looks like a b series engine ecu ..not a k series engine.. anyone got the color and location of the k series engine harness for the speed limiter on a 92 mx3 gs? opr do I have to open it?

hot it..its pin 1m located at the top connector..its conector number 7 . very thin dark blown wore (looks black from far away) with a little thin white stripe. It comes from the speedometer therefore by cutting it you dont kill the speedo..just the ecm wont know what speed you are at. cant control you. Cant test it yet until I reach a safe lonely hwy road. Since i live outside the city its not hard to find any of those .

The 22 pin connector, farthest on the right, top row, 5th pin from the left side for the KL31 ECU. Not aware if it's coincidental with the same pin on the K8.

Yes, the "M" pin is the Speed Limiter.
Cut the wire. The worst thing that could happen is you having to splice it back together.

nothing happened..its pin 1m. I did notice a bit of a difference..the car wont hold back now when going 60 to 90. No cel lights. No affect in gas mileage..basically its a thin wire that comes from the speedometer to the ecu. Like I said car does not hold back anymore and will easily reach 90. Its a step compared to how it was before. I ran out of road..could not run to 120 because i was scared. Im thinking the speed limiter also limits the rate of acceleration Because now it felt really nice. Doesnt hurt anything so if anyone wants to try it for themselves go for it. Nice mod lol

The k8 isn't speed limited.... It can reach 220KMH ~140mph.... so what exactly is going to be tested?

If it isnt speed limited... why do we have that speed limiter?? o.0 and why is it that I dont get slowed down like before. Of course Im not flying but well..then what is it for? I got no cel light after cutting wire.

So black/white wire on the 93 GS? I have the KL31 ECU.
