how much would a auto/manual trans cost?

I don't understand exactly what are you asking, but about the topic, the price depends on were you buy the tranny, I bought my manual tranny on a junker out of a Protege '92 with everything, cluth, flywheel, pedals, shift, etc..., and it only cost me $600.00.

i think mullcap means an auto stick. so that you can drive with the automatic function or manual....like in the new intrepids...

yeah im asking about what caveman is saying. the new eclipses have both functions just wondering if you could buy one for the mx.

highly highly doubt it. At least at this time.. You would have to have a custom job and find somebody tat would know HOW to do it. This is like revolutionary thing so I wouldnt count on it ever being put in an MX-3. HOWEVER the RX-8 is going to have one.
