94 RS 1.6L DOHC ATX - 26MPG City - 33 MPG Hiway - Average 30MPG These are my mileage figures prior to my Acetone testing. Current Mileage averages are:
28MPG - City
36MPG - Hiway
32MPG - Overall average.
Been running this test for a bit over 3 weeks now.. on my 4th tank of gas with 3 ounces of acetone added per fillup (I bumped up the amount after my first tank) Still testing this though and I am by no means recommending anyone try this test at this time.

22-24 pure city (22.5 avg)
25-32 highway (28.0 avg)
25-28 mixed (~26.5 avg)
I keep track of mileage every tank in a lil booklet inside my glovebox.
oh ya, I got a KLZE and always use 92 or 93 premium fuel (up in mountains only can get 92 for some reason)

It's something to do with oxygen content at higher elevation air. In Las Vegas, 91 octane is the 'premium' gas. We're 2500 feet in elevation. Although I don't know why you can still only get 91 octane in Los Angeles. I think that has more to do with pollution is less with 91 octane or something like that.Gro Harlem wrote: oh ya, I got a KLZE and always use 92 or 93 premium fuel (up in mountains only can get 92 for some reason)
