Filling Manual transmission with oil?

Post by rusty »

I have a 93 MX3 with a 5 speed and have drained the gear oil by removing the big plug, but not sure where to fill it up. I tryed filling it through the check level bolt on the side of the case but it won't take any oil. I have a Chiltons manual but it doesn't help me much. What is the proper procedure in filling these with oil and how much oil would it take?

Remove your speedo gear and fill it from there.
