more BPT problems

Post by ryanlindenberg »

ok so i can't get my tach or my temp guage to work, i was told that i had to run a wire from the temp sensor to the red/black wire coming from the cluster, the needle stays pegged at the bottom. can you test the sensor somehow to make sure it is still good.

for the tachs signal i ran a wire from the coil + to the yellow/blue. the tach kind of randomly bounces slightly, when i accelerate at a decent speed it seems to kick in though, then when i let off it stops again.

my driving lights are out (headlights and brake lights still work, so does the interior dome light).

any ideas? i'm running the haltech e6x. i need to get this figured out ASAP. as always thanks for the help guys. i feel like punting my car right about now.
