I'm going to be attempting the swap within the next few weeks, and have a few questions that I'd really appreciate everyone's feedback on - reason being I'm operating under a tight budget and have to get this right, first time!!

First of all, my car is a 1994 "SE" MX-3 MT, apparently only 150 made, has limited edition wheels, leather/suede interior, A/C, elec sunroof etc. I've ran it from 97,000 to 113,000 with it's K8 engine and now feel the need to have that extra power.
So, I recieved "the call" today, apparently a jap specialist have a KL-ZE in England (I live in Scotland) which is in good condition, 55-60k miles avg, and will cost me £715 including tax and shipping ($1330). I'm OK with paying this if the engine is the real deal, but should I get them to send me some pictures of it? Apparently it's nothing but the engine (no extras, like tranny, dizzy etc - is this OK?).
I intend to buy the following to install with the new engine (from rr-racing.com):
Stage 1 clutch + fidanza flywheel
Magnecor HT leads
drilled rotors + carbon pads -OR- HS headers
straight-through 2.5" exhaust system
....
my question is:
Is there anything else I need to buy? I'm having a mechanic I know do the work for me, so is he able to use the existing tranny, distributor, wiring loom etc etc etc ?
Am I right in thinking I'll need to get a KL-ZE ECU? What about the VAF?
Should I insist on a curved neck ZE? Or if it's a straight neck how difficult is it to adapt?
Thanks a lot in advance, I estimate I'll have about £2250 to spend, so will be cutting it tight.
Cheers,
David
::edit::
Just had a thought - what about emissions? Does anyone know if it'll pass a UK MOT test? (guess it's a tough question for a canadian/american board...
