they are fiberglass, so i guess it's nothin to worry about. the shipper is making a claim with the freight company, so he will send me money to cover the repair.
i was just concerned it would be fixed, but not like new.
they should be able to repair them. The bodyshop who did my brothers ford fiesta had to chopp some mr2 veilside side skirts in half and fix them to the car. So just repairing them should be no problem.
the guy i talked to says $50 each to repair, on top of whatever the paint and install costs... seem reasonable to you guys? i dont think he mentioned anything about welding...
50 each !! dam how bad are the..it only takes around 15 - 20 dlls for biber glass material and resin (bought in the us) to do the job..why dont you do it yourself?

MX-3 w/ curved neck millenia klde, boosted @ 5 psi. /bov and wastegate are good!/ nitto drag radial/ gutted interior/ millenia red top injectors, vortech fmu/aem wideband/ all bolts ons/ Car put together 100% by me. Mechanic? who needs a mechanic? ew.. real men work on their own cars!
wish i knew how... i guess thats what ya pay for tho... i'm supposed to get reimbursed for this repair anyway.
if it were up to you, would you just get them replaced instead of repaired?? i've been under the impression that the end result is the same, minus a lot of shipping and wait time
i bet they will be better repaired than if you got a new set. most kits seem pretty thin, the bodyshop won't be stingy with the glass and that section of the skirt will be stronger because of it.
