AFTER MARKET MUFFLER

hey guys i really want to switch my *stock* muffler and switch into a proformance muffler (nothing that wakes up all of mississauga though) does anyone know where to get them from for this car, *at a GOOD PRICE TOO*

Any muffler shop should be able to get what you want. I had a magnaflow muffler and it wan't to loud.
1993 MX-3 GS 5 spd, KL-ZE swap, kl31 ecu, 110 amp alternator, Unorthodox Underdrive Pulley, SSautocrome headers, High flow cat, Pacesetter high flow cat-back, B&M shortshifter, Clear Sigs/Sides.

i think what he's asking is if there are any places recomended....ones that won't rip you off if you don't know any better. technically Midas does mufflers, but i wouldn't go there.

ya i just wanted to know where everyone else is going to get their mufflers done because i'd rather trust a former mx-3 owner than a sleezy midas man :):)

depending on your price try zoro exhaust in mississauga, i got a magna on a my vw but thats if your willing to spend some cashola.

well thats the point, i'd rather save money and not spend a ton of cash on it, and thats why i wanted to kno if anyone knew any good places to go

well i will ask my boss, i think we can get some aftermarket ones and we could possible put it in for cheap if not try a speedy out. they seem to have pretty decent ones, DNA and ractive i beleive.

A search for a thread by Tatsu in the V6 forum. There's a lot of outstanding info wrt exhaust/mufflers. In particular, Magna Flow.

hey man

i got my exhaust done at JPG Exhaust in oakville if u want the number and address let me kno, but they did a great job and it didnt take long to get put on.....a full catback with a 4.5 inch opening and she purrs like a kitten!! not too loud despite the huge exhaust

hey do you think that it would be better to buy it from a shop or from "The Midas Touch" :S
there was one mention of a shop from **RTT** in oakville
what about in Sauga and for a good deal

i got my ractive one from canadain tire and just put it on at my house it's not that hard to do just unbolt the exhaust pipe before the axel and cut the old one off attach new one with clamps and rebolt back on to car simple did it in under 30mins with my buddy
