CV Joint Problem: Outer CV Joints Differant On Each Side ?

Post by alibath »

Are all mazda mx-3 CV Joints different on each side i.e. the left outer is not the same as the right outer. But all places I contacted for a CV Joint only list the same part number for both sides.

The passengers side drive shaft is larger in diameter than the other side and the CV Joint wont fit, everywhere lists the same part number for both sides, anyone came across this problem before ?

Had to in the end get the orginal reconditioned.

they are not the same, they are different lengths.

Fenco has different part numbers for these, cv8238 and cv8237 i think.... parts #s could be wrong. But i know they are 110% different.
